“My husband and I just wanted a nice relaxing get away. The place was nice and owners seemed nice when we met them when we first got there. Very secluded, nearest food restaurant was about 20 mins away. If you stay, make sure you have what you need, any store is a little distance. Enjoyed our stay and view”

“It's a beautiful place to stay, perfect for taking a few days off and connecting with nature. The best thing about this place is the scenery. You can see sunsets and sunrises that aren't seen anywhere else in Poconos. I would definitely stay here again.”

“The place was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. It's in a quiet, country setting that is peaceful. Also, there was a grill that was accessible to use. I will come back here if I am in the area again. I recommend this place.”

“Really great overall experience on my sleep stopover during a long trip. The room was simple but clean and had everything I needed. The area had some basic amenities while also being surrounded by natural beauty. I was glad for driving the extra 25 minutes to avoid larger cities and chain hotels. “This is a nice, historic farmhouse on a stream right outside of Hancock, NY. Centrally located for drift boat trips on the West Branch and Mainstem. Although it is on a two lane road, the backyard is very private and the large windows give a great view of the stream.”

“The view was amazingly beautiful. The room howler not so much, shower sprayed all over, when you took a shower the smoke alarm went off , the toilet rocked, the coffee pot was not functional ( they did replace pot) the room was missing toaster as specified on site, the remote did not work ( they replaced) , in order to use coffee pot we had to get under table and switch plug out with microwave. ”
