Welcome to our spacious river front cottage - the perfect choice for your getaway, no matter the season! This family-friendly 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom vacation home is located just steps from the river and is conveniently located to all the activities the Crystal Mountain Resort has to offer.

In the winter, hit the downhill or cross-country ski trails, or take to the snow on a snowmobile. And in the summer, take a kayak out on the river, visit nearby wineries and breweries, hit the ATV trails, do some shopping, or head to the nearby Resort spa - the options are endless.

When you're not out enjoying the great outdoors, our cottage has everything you need to relax with your loved ones. The large and well-stocked kitchen is perfect for creating fun meals with the family, while the ample living and dining areas provide a comfortable and open area to relax and unwind. Step outside to the private patio and enjoy a soak in the hot tub, a BBQ or get inspired by the beautiful river views to create something amazing.

Additional amenities include a washer and dryer, storage for all your toys (whether they have wheels or skis), and off-street parking. Convenient restaurants are also just a short drive away. Betsie Bliss was exactly what our family needed to rest after our days skiing at Crystal Mountain. The location was excellent, beds very comfortable, the cottage clean from top to bottom and the kitchen was extremely well appointed. Will absolutely plan to return.

From start to finish this place had everything we needed and things we didn’t even think of this is what I loved about this they thought of everything so I didn’t and the location was perfect for our family who needed a getaway from our very busy lives. Loved the river we took full advantage of it as well as the hot tub. Comfortable accommodations all around. If you are looking to have a relaxing vacation away from distractions this definitely is the place. Great hosts always able to be in contact with them when needed.

Everything was great about the place, including the pleasant surprise of a screened in porch, perfect for relaxing with coffee in the morning or a drink at night with the sounds of the river. We enjoyed local and regional attractions, including Kayaking (n/a at house, we brought our own) where we finished at the house after dropping in at Wolf Rd. It’s beautiful, but swift and not for beginners. After activities, the hot tub was the perfect way close out the day. The Kitchen is very well equipped, perfect to cook for our group. Doing laundry on-site was great, but there are plenty of towels, including dog towels. Lots of other little bonuses we discovered that made our stay great, too many to list here.

Amazing time

Everything that may have been forgotten, was ready for us, including things I didn't think of. It was just nice to wake up, have coffee, sit on the porch and watch the river. It's a great place and look forward to a summer visit.

Crystal Mountain Winter Fun

Really great setup in a picturesque river environment. Had agreat time with family and friends. Just minutes from Crystal Mountain. Hot tub was amazing. Plenty of space. The owners thought of everything. Fully stocked kitchen if you want to stay in & cook. Would definitely rent again.

*Great Cabin* close to skiing!

This property was fantastic for our family snowboard trip! About 4 minutes from Crystal Mountain, it offered a quiet setting in the woods away from the busyness of the slopes. We cooked our meals and could shuttle back and forth to the resort throughout the day for breaks. Everything was very clean and so well equipped. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot to stay for our honeymoon!

The house itself is well supplied, super clean, quiet, and well located! Easy check in and check out process. We loved the screened in deck a lot. The location was great for us as it is near both Traverse City area as well as Manistee. The Best part for us is that it is dog friendly!

Great Home Away From Home

This property was exceptional. It is a very well maintained, meticulously clean property that is fully stocked. You only need to bring clothes and food. We used this cottage as our family cabin while the remainder of our in-laws stayed at the larger house next to it. Perfect for a large family vacation. The river running in the back of the property was an added bonus. Our children enjoyed playing in it and the dock made for a tranquil spot to sip our morning coffee. We will definitely be back!
