Delicious breakfast and we ate at the hotel both evenings. Good choice of food. Averagely priced. Comfortable room but pillows a bit too firm for me.

âWe stayed in the suite and it was so beautiful we booked for an hour there night.
Friendly and helpful staff and our room was clean and cosy.
Breakfast was okay, but would've like to have seen a selection of mini cakes/biscuits and fresh fruits to the selection, just to give more of a variety and also some fresh juice in addition to the cordial, tea and coffee on offer.
However an enjoyable and pleasant stay and would love to return. â
âWe had a lovely stay at this hotel and really couldnât fault it all. The staff were lovely, warm, friendly, very kind & obliging, the room had all the facilities you needed, was very clean, quiet and had fabulous views. The food in the restaurant was very good & offered a nice selection. The continental breakfast was perfect (muesli, granola, mixed berries, yoghurt etc - all my favourite things) & they even provided oatmilk. Above all that it was exceptional value, so weâll definitely come again...
âExcellent facilities, clean and modern room. The rooms were very warm, even with a fan. I think a thinner duvet for the summer would be a good call. Food in the restaurant was very good however the services was quite poor. Granted it was a busy Saturday night but the services for drinks and ordering food was very slow and we felt forgotten about. We didnât get asked if we would like to see the dessert menu and if we hadnât had asked for the bill we would have been waiting all night.
All in all...
âGot a wonderful meal at the evening. Although the breakfast hours was far off from normal business hours why I had to leave without having any. Better suited for holiday travellers I believe.

We were visiting YSP and it was very easy from Friendship Hotel. There were plenty of options for eating within walking distance. We were always able to park at the back of the hotel.

Car parking is plentiful and very convenient straight outside our room ( actually perfect if one had any mobility issues or required safe parking for valuable stock in a van ).â
âI booked an accessible room as I was travelling with my mother who has a wheelchair. Disabled parking bays right next to reception and plenty of parking, all free made arrival easy.
The room was spacious enough for the wheelchair and the roll in shower with seat had great water pressure. Pull cords in bedroom and bathroom. Lowered basin etc. Beds were very comfortable. We needed a fridge to store my Mums insulin, they let us use the hotel fridge.

"Otroligt centralt hotel mitt i Sheffields stadskÀrna. Trevlig och tillmötesgÄende personal. Mycket fint och tyst hotellrum, finns ingenting att klaga pÄ. Toppen betyg pÄ detta hotell. Kommer definitivt vÀlja detta hotell igen om jag behöver bo pÄ hotell nÀr jag Àr i Sheffield och hÀlsar pÄ familj. "
"Very inconvenient that the taxi booked by the reception (which they had written on a big note that they offered) only took cash, and didn't say so until the end of the trip. Otherwise all good. "
"The location was great and the staff tried hard, however, everything else was only just okay. The door lock system does not work well with you having to replace the keys frequently. Also, all the public areas are too small. The worst was getting into the breakfast room there were queues and some days impossible to get in."
