“We had such a lovely 2 night stay here!
The lodge was in pristine condition, with all necessities like tea, coffee, milk.
The hot tub was ready for us to get in. There were plenty of useful extras like iron, travel cot, hairdryers, plenty of toilet rolls. There was an en-suite with shower and a family bathroom too. The lounge was spacious and the tv in the lounge and bedroom had channels and internet access for using Netflix, YouTube, etc.
The lodge is tastefully decorated and very cosy.

“The lodge and location was outstanding. Situated on Heron Lakes looking across one of the 6 lakes on site with stunning views. Great location to get to the coast and plenty to do on site with walked, bike trails and of course fishing! Great short break away and will be staying here again. Service at the guest house could not be faulted, the breakfast, included in the price, was plentiful and served to your table. Our room was quite small but well provided and tastefully decorated. "The reception employees were not service minded during check in and out. I arrived at 11 am and asked about the possibility of early check in (anytime before 15:00 even paid for). The receptionist asked for my name and once I gave it, the reply was No, it's fully booked even though:
- he didn't even check.
- a couple that he helped before me got to check in.
- when I came back in the evening and asked for a floor fan, the evening receptionist said he'd look for any available in the "unoccupied rooms". Concluding that morning receptionist lied and the hotel wasn't actually fully booked. "
