"If you’re looking for a peaceful base to experience Tiburon, this hotel is a good option. Tiburon itself is absolutely wonderful—quiet, charming, and full of character. The hotel’s location makes it easy to enjoy everything the town has to offer. That said, the hotel feels a bit dated. With limited competition in the area, the standard isn’t quite what you might expect for the price. The room was reasonably clean, although one member of our family didn’t like the smell in the room, possibly from the cleaning products. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They kindly allowed us to check out one hour later, which we appreciated. We actually stayed at this hotel twice during our three-week trip. We chose to return mainly because we loved Tiburon, rather than because of the hotel itself. The biggest disappointment was the pool towels. They repeatedly ran out and were never restocked, even after several reminders and requests at the front desk. That was frustrating and should be an easy issue for the hotel to fix."
