“Place was great but the hot tub on the balcony did not work. Also good luck trying to find parking if you have a rental. It was so frustrating to find a space that I went ahead and returned my car a day early. The apartment was very clean and I thought it was a nice touch having a little bathroom kit with a toothbrush among other things. Many restaurant and shopping choices around the area. Would definitely go back. ”

Even walked to greet us on arrival at 5am, made reservations at a restaurant he recommended and was in his words “at our disposal” during our stay in Crete even after we left Heraklion to move to our beach holiday. “A lovely oasis outside the main tourist areas yet still close enough to walk to everything. I’d read the reviews about the “rough” neighbourhood, but while it is not picturesque, it always felt safe. The hotel has loveky bright rooms, and is scrupulously clean. We loved having a private ground floor patio with its own lemon tree! There were some wifi issues during our stay, but not specific to the hotel.
