"We stayed at the resort for 10 days and overall had a good stay — but it’s not a 5-star resort. The place feels quite run-down, especially the rooms, which haven’t been renovated in many years. Pros: - Very friendly and helpful staff. - Beautiful and well-maintained surroundings. - We were quickly offered a new room when we asked. Highly recommend choosing one with a sea view — others can have a very dull view. - There’s a cozy little backyard area behind Rodius where you can enjoy a drink in the evening. Sadly, it’s often empty since it’s far from the main restaurant. - For the price per night, comparing to many other resort, it is priceworthy. Cons: - The lifeguards are overly strict. I made a small dive in the pool and was immediately whistled at — very uncomfortable. I wasn’t the only one who noticed; several guests felt the same. - The rooms and parts of the hotel feel outdated and in need of renovation. - Half board only includes the main buffet restaurant. Although the buffet is pretty good for being a buffet. Tips: - Rent a car if you want to explore! Avoid Hersonissos — we recommend Piskopiano instead. If you’re traveling with kids, visit Acqua Water Park (5 mins away). For a great beach nearby, go to Potamos. Summary: A good stay overall, but the standard doesn’t match what you’d expect from a 5-star resort. "

"Bra beläget hotell i centrala Heraklion. Vi hade ett rum på plan 1 vilket är 2 trappor upp från markplan/receptionen. Rummet var lagom stort, men badrummet hade kunnat vara lite större då handfatet var placerat utanför badrummet. Väggarna var ganska tunna vilket gjorde att man hörde väl när någon pratade i korridoren utanför. Förutom det hade vi en väldigt bra vistelse på hotellet. Allt var rent och fräscht inne på rummet. Frukosten på morgonen var fantastisk med det mesta man kan tänka sig till en frukost. Allting var fräscht och gott! Takterrassen och poolen var i toppskick också."
