“The hotel advertised a swimming pool, but this is not operational. Hopefully they adjust their advertising to reflect reality. I was offered nothing in lieu of this, which was a bit surprising. The room was very nice and the staff were pleasant. The restaurant was fine. The shower head was broken in the bathroom, but other fixtures were functioning. Maybe focus less on robots and more on ensuring that the services are in place? ”

“We had a nice room with balcony over the backyard. Clean and nice room with very comfortable beds. Nice breakfast buffé where you can sit inside or outside. Nice view from the roof terrace and very helpful staff. I would stay again. Just five minutes walk from busy Thamel. ”

“Having spent two nights at Swarga I couldn’t be happier! The hotel is bang in the centre of historical Kathmandu with lots of sight, restaurants and shopping around.
The hotel is very beautiful, clean and friendly and my room, the heritage suite, was nothing short of spectacular. Incredibly clean, stylish and modern but still very authentic and traditional. The hotel is an oasis in the bustle of Kathmandu with a lovely courtyard offering shade and tranquility.

“We stayed for three nights after our hiking trip and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The breakfast buffet was outstanding — a huge selection of fresh, local dishes that felt truly farm-to-table quality. The main complain is bad sound insulation. If you get a room towards the garden where the restaurant is you will hear all the guest talking until late night. You will hear them in the morning too of cause. Unless you sleep too deep because you are tired of not being able to sleep the whole night. :-)
