“More of the western style setup but still a compact business hotel for the Japanese.
It was very close to Kanayama station, tons of food options for every taste, and a Aeon mall with reasonable walking distance.
Only complaint I had to adjust to was the noise, it is a busy area until late at night and my room was on the train side. I did get use to it after a couple nights.
Breakfast has a few western style items to get you by, but their is a FamilyMart just downstairs, and a McDonalds...

“Dust on the floor and on the walls, the double room was smaller than a regular single room and the bed was for 1 person even though it was stated for 2. Mold was growing in the AC unit.”

It's located somewhere in the middle between Nagoya station and the shopping area (as far as I could tell), but in the immediate neighborhood there really wasn't much of anything.

"Spent one night here since we wanted to visit Ghibli park. Even though the hotel is as close to the station as possible, just be aware that it still takes 10-15 minutes to get from the plattform to the hotel reception (since this is located soon floors up in a Hightower building). The hotel seemed extremely caused to business men/women but the quality, size and cleanliness was excellent (we stayed at a moderate double room). Overall a very good hotel, would definitely recommend!"
