“Room smelled really musty with moldy bathroom curtains. Crusty comforter so no telling what that creamish looking substance was....Went to the office 2x in the morning, had to phibe them since office was closed and no answer.
Too pricey for a place like this. Needs a good cleaning, cobwebs and dead bugs need a good vacuum and place needs to be aired out.”

“Overall a bit aged hotel but the rooms were in better condition than the rest of the hotel. Good sound proofing and nice beds.
Gym room with big dumbells are a bonus that images do not show.”

“The best thing about Smith Rock Chalets is the view. To begin, the road in is over a mile (2.2km) of rough gravel. The shower has slightly warm water, at best. The wood kitchen chairs are uncomfortable, and the couch (hide-a-bed) in the loft (TV room) is equally uncomfortable. The bed was fairly soft but not too bad to sleep on. The weather wasn’t great while I was there so we didn’t use the pool or hot tub so can’t comment. I could not recommend the place.”

“Quite convenient, 2 minutes drive to Pictou County Wellness Centre. A lot of restaurants around. Easy parking, hot breakfast, and great staffs.”

“Very much in the Scottish theme! Sandy, our host had a great sense of humour & with good stories to share. He also had advice about where to eat & visit in Pictou. At breakfast he dressed up in his kilt to serve a delicious light breakfast prepared by both him & Cathy. We enjoyed our time there!”
