"In the harbour area of Port Nelson we were friendly and welcoming greeted by the owner of the lodge. Got a nice studio on the first floor facing the marinas with a small balcony. Nice and clean. Well maintained. Continental breakfast was a good relaxing start and included in the booking. We would gladly return. "

"Nice clean hotel with great views and friendly staff. We had dinner at the restaurant but unfortunately it was not for us - everything was sickeningly sweet and completely unsalted. I’ve come to realize that salt is not much used in new zealand but this was the worst so far, unsalted fish drenched in sweet chili sauce. Unless you are a kiwi used to this kind of seasoning I recommend you dine elsewhere."
