âThe lodge and location was outstanding. Situated on Heron Lakes looking across one of the 6 lakes on site with stunning views. Great location to get to the coast and plenty to do on site with walked, bike trails and of course fishing! Great short break away and will be staying here again. Thanks for a great experience throughout Lisa!â

âWe stayed for a week in March 2025 and thought this cottage was wonderful. Tastefully furnished and very well equipped, this was a real home from home. The comprehensive welcome pack was much appreciated. We would not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend to friends and family. â
âRoom was very nice. Food in the evening was excellent. Really exceptional Indian food. The breakfast however was a.big disappointment after such a dinner. Not even a slice of cheese or ham. Just toast with marmelade. Very very bad.â
âThis is a cosy cottage in a lovely quiet location. There is a private courtyard with outdoor seating where we enjoyed sitting in the sunshine after a walk to the beach. The owner kindly provided us with information on walks, grocery shops, places to eat etc. I would definitely recommend going to this cottage.â
âI booked the Maze Apartments because it was so close to the venue for the Campfire Country Music Festival and it was spot on. Being only 5 mins walk to the park was great!
When we arrived we got a parking spot in the car park under the Apartments and it was FREE! The lady on reception was nice and friendly and advised us we had been given an upgrade!!
The room was great. Large, spacious with all the amenities you could need. The bathroom was small but clean with a shower, basin and toilet.

âChecking was great, and the room was sufficient. However, when I went to use the shower in the morning, the bath had lots of debris, and gunk in it, presumably from the person who used it before. The carpet also hadnât been cleaned, which put me off somewhat. The bedding did seem fresh, but I didnât want to take a shower, or have a tea and coffee in the morning. The cleanliness really let this place down.â
