“The lodge is very well equipped with lots of little extras like cooking oil, games, DVDs etc. The beds are very comfy and sleeps 5 people really well. The site is very quiet and has a kids play area. Easy to walk to East Soar and then to the coast path or to Overbeck Gardens & down to South Sands to catch the ferry to Salcombe. ”

“A perfect place to relax with stunning panoramic views over the sea. The terrace is a great place to sit and unwind, with the outdoor bath and added treat. The cabin is tastefully decorated right down to the fabulous Cornishware pottery. Can't recommend highly enough.”

“We had a wonderful time in Lower Hill Cottage. The hot tub was wonderful and enjoyed by the children. Was fun having to put the logs on to make/keep it hot. Could have done with a few games in the cottage for when the weather turned on us mind. I recommend Shell Woods and definitely Blisland Woods. I would definitely recommend this little holiday home. “We were a bit nervous having read some poor reviews for Whitsand Bay Fort but this unit is privately owned and was perfect for us as a family of 4. Everything we needed was provided. If you're looking for lots of beach time, the closest beach is Treganhawke which is absolutely beautiful and there are life guards on duty however the climb is really steep so be prepared 😀”
