Great location with amazing views. Unfortunately floors were dirty on arrival. Bathroom floor was disgusting. Shower leaks onto the bathroom floor, bed move’s because it’s on wheels and fridge freezes food.

Wyndham Resort is very close to everything. Walking distance to the beach and great restaurants/cafes. Short drive to major attractions in the Surf Coast. Though rooms need some updating and minor maintenance we totally enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Honestly , I was not very pleased to stay at this property. The deluxe queen room was dark .. due to some ceiling light was not working .. so as the toilet some light was not working.. I had unpleasant experience during breakfast time.. they lost my order and Made me wait more than an hour and didn’t informed me that my breakfast order was lost ..

Not worth the money
We arrived and booked for two adults and two kids. There was no sheets or quilt covers for the sofa bed. It took 3 different phone numbers to get help as ‘ it wasn’t really classified as an emergency’. Took over hour and half to receive any sheets which they didn’t have a double cover so had to use two seperate covers on a double. Kept falling off the kids all night. For a penthouse it is outdated furniture which is very well used, main bed is tiny not a true queen and is extremely uncomfortable. Furniture could be updated and also the tv. $700 for two nights not worth it. Didn’t stay last night drove home for comfortable beds. Really disappointing!

The management is offsite. We didn’t have to call management for anything so I cannot comment of their services. Picking up and dropping off the keys was easy enough. The pool was very nice. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfy.

Took a lot of navigating to find my room at the beginning. But it was worth it when I did. Big list of must do’s or face extra charges, some of which were quite extreme (in my opinion). Loved hearing the beach from my balcony though.

There are too many additional and confusing steps that happen off Expedia, instead having to correspond with surf coast rentals. The property itself was ok, though there were sticky handprints on one of the chairs, chips underneath the sofa bed and the only cleaning product supplied was dishwasher and laundry powder. The kids loved the pool and the room was relatively quiet.

This resort is in a great spot across the road from the beach and about a 1k walk from shop and restaurant precinct (along the beach). Terrific outdoor pool, indoor pool, gym and spa at the resort. BBQ and playgrounds are there as well. We had a lovely room overlooking the pool. Restaurant downstairs too. Torquay is a stunning place for a holiday. Surfers will love it. However you are actually not part of the resort. This means the front desk can’t help and you pick up the key from a different spot about a k away. There’s no tidying of the room while there and the after hours emergency number is actually a text message service. They were quick to respond. Some facilities are tired. The carpet smells of smoke. It’s great to have a microwave in the room and the shower was great. It’s a pretty good deal. We had a ball.

Not a ‘Resort’ at all! From the filthy carpets to the stinky hallways and dirty towels, this place was a disgrace. We certainly won’t be returning anytime soon!

Outdoor pool area was great. Across the road from the beach was great. Parking was an issue, couldn’t always find an empty spot. Apartment was good but extremely hot….ok if you close the curtains all day and leave air con on.

The location was great -10 minute walk to the main town and even less to great beaches. The pools etc were good and clean. The entire setup however was pretty odd. It was setup like a motel room, except the requirements were more like a serviced apartment (collecting keys offsite, taking out your own rubbish). Everything was fairly outdated, including the documentation they left for you. The biggest thing for us was the smell. In our room there was a constant overwhelming smell of sewage coming out of the drain in the bathroom which made the whole room smell a little off. The “resort” was part of another resort but you couldn’t seek their assistance with anything and no one was available except for emergencies with ours. Made it a bit hard to tell what was and wasn’t included. This wasn’t outright bad, but I certainly wouldn’t choose it again with so many options in town.

The toilet was leaking all over the floor when we got there. They were very quick to get maintenance and a plumber out to look and fix the problem. The second light in the bathroom was not working.

Locked out of room twice due to faulty keys, moved to another room which had a full dishwasher and fridge. Rooms were disgusting will forward photos to property manager who wasn’t interested. Won’t be recommending this company to anyone very disappointed ☹️

Sofa bed is broken, it wouldn’t fold into position. I have noticed damage on one side of folding mechanism and the whole thing is quite wobbly. Bathtub drained was very slow draining, water built up during the shower. This led to potential major hazard after soapy water drained out but left very slippery filmed surface in the bathtub. The location and car park are great. Having washing machine and drier in your own apartment is definitely a plus.

I didnt like that this property is owner residence. It was not advertised as one. I would not have booked if i knew. I felt i was cheated and paid too much for this air bnb like property. It gives you an air bnb experience with owners stuff and chained padlock on spaces not accessible. What an uncomfortable feeling and such an eyesore the chained cupboard doors were. I will never book another property from expedia as i no longer trust the properties advertised.

The shower head was held together with blue masking tape. Was fixed during the day on Saturday but made us question the cleanliness of the entire apartment. If the cleaners don’t notice something as obvious as that and notify management how much attention and care is actually taken? If management know, why was it not fixed, but entire rate charged? Very disappointing, especially in the current climate
