Frukosten lagades efter vår beställning och serverades av hotellets ägare (?), som också gav oss värdefulla tips inför våra utflykter i omgivningarna. Badrummet var fräscht och välfungerande - och i engelsk stil. Huset var mycket gammalt, så golven var skeva och trappan smal - men det hörde till charmen! Vi hade familjerum - mycket rymligt! “Bra frukost, litet men trevligt rum men på ett gammalt Brittiskt värdshus kan man inte förvänta sig rymliga rum. Bra mat även på middagen så helt klart värt en övernattning om ni ska vara i trakten..”

“Nice sizeable and comfortable room. Unfortunately it was quite hot due to it being on the second floor and after a string of hotter than usual days, not helped by the fact that the heated towel rail (from the hot water system) couldn't be shut off. But a great old pub to stay in all the same. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant.”

“Was a really nice and quirky place this old pub! The room was nice with a sink and shower. The downsize was not having toilet in same room. The staff was very forthcoming and the breakfast! For someone enjoying good English breakfast this was really good! There could be some sound from downstairs during evenings but what could you expect when staying in a pub?! “The location was great for our purposes and the parking was good. Breakfasts were excellent, there was a nice patio and garden out the back. Well-run family B&B. The principal negatives were the noise (our suite overlooked the main road) and the very spasmodic Wi-Fi. At this price point it was disappointing.”
