“We just returned from a week in Puglia. The home is centrally located so it is easy to take driving trips to Matera, Bari, Polignano a mare, and several other places. The home is extremely clean and well equipped. The rooms are air conditioned. Salvatore truly makes you feel at home. He gave us tons of good advice about what to do and where to go. He was extremely easy to communicate with. I would rent this place again in a heartbeat.”

“Our time at la fortezza was fantastic!! The description of the villa is right on. We found it convenient for day trips. Found good restaurants in Polignano le mare. Francesca’s communication was immediate and she was very kind to help us with picking up a car before arriving at La Fortezza. Loved if!!!”

“Magnifique séjour dans cette villa. Piscine privée qui fait du bien sous 45°! A environ 30 min de magnifiques villes et villages comme Alberobello, Loco Rotondo etc . Plages à 10 minutes en voiture. Le propriétaire Danilo est très sympathique et répond rapidement en cas de questions sur la maison ou encore pour nous conseiller des choses sympa à faire dans la région ! Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans les Pouilles !”

“We stayed for a week here at this beautiful home and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is clean and well maintained as is the surrounding property. There are many amenities (pool, tennis, table tennis, basketball) to enjoy plus a couple of nice areas to sit outside and eat or enjoy the evening. While Italy was extremely hot during our stay, the pool and the AC in the bedrooms kept us cool. I would highly recommend this house for a relaxing, family focused holiday that is still within...

“Really enjoyed our stay here, the villa is remote, you do need a car, and the roads are quite narrow when first approaching... but once youve navigated the roads a few time they offer little difficulty. The accomodation is charming, rustic but somehow has everything you need, the wifi is exceptional and the pool is a god send in the heat we had. 38 most days!! “Nice jacuzzi and a perfectly equipped and nicely decorated house. Good air condition, satelite TV, washing machine, dishwasher, barbeque grill, beautiful garden, for us it was really a dream. The owner helped us within 20min when we had a problem with the door and fixed it. He gave us a lot of good advices where to go for good restaurants or scienic trips.”

It had everything and was in good order except for one shower which had little warm water. Unfortunately it was the season of mosquitoes, which made using the garden area impossible.”
