“Last minute booking and I was treated to a gorgeous room with a balcony on the edge of Piazza Maggiore. Fantastic location! The place wasn’t fancy with front desk, buffets etc, but perfect for a solo traveller wanting a local experience. Breakfast “Italian style” is included at the nearby cafe. The Piazza is noisy, but the windows are soundproof and you wouldn’t know there was a sole outside. I’d stay here again. ”

“Carlo is a wonderful host! He provided a map and recommendations for our short stay in Bologna, including dinner reservations. The B and B is full of beautiful Italian antiques that provide a lovely ambiance. The views from the terrace and rooftop are unmatched. Carlo joined us for an after dinner drink and told of the area. He made a wonderful breakfast for us before our departure. ”
