It started with some confusion as the Lady was still cleaning as she had a different time than we were given which wasn't an issue but needs addressing.
The rooms are lovely and clean, bedrooms and beds are very comfy. Kitchen is functional a pleasant. Likewise the lounge area.
The huge thick walls means it is cool in the summer sun and warm in the cooler evenings.
There is a very small patio which is shared with the neighbour and they were not there so not an issue, but it needs to be made clear.
A down side for us was the lounge furniture. On the first day it was fine, but there is only a two seater sofa which was quite comfy, the other chairs, less so. As there was three of us one remained on the upright chairs which after a day's hike was the last thing that was needed.
We'd have liked access to a hoover to clean as we were there for a week and unfortunately there isn't one.
Bathroom was fine and practical but the shower a little disappointing but that's an electric shower for you.
Would we stay again? Yes, but please, explain to customers about Totnes and the extortionate cost of parking and the fact that long term parking is several hundred metres away. Not an issue, we were fine with this but please, this needs to be in the description.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we'd certainly be happy to return. The bottle of milk, complimentary biscuits, tea, coffee etc was a nice touch, thank you.
