“We enjoyed our stay: heard many birds, saw some beautiful sunsets. Exploring Middlebury and the maritime museum were highlights. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. This is a great getaway for a young couple.”

“A great location for the hiking and kayaking we wanted to experience in the Adirondack mountains. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately supplied. The home was a little dark for reading which were were prepared for with book lights. You can hear the cars on route 87 to be aware of if the would bother you. ”

“This is a beautiful property on an idyllic lake which we enjoyed very much. Linda was a more than accommodating host and we enjoyed talking with her and learning about the property and the area. Great water activities, especially the paddle boarding and canoeing. Proximity to Lake George is a plus!”

“Older cottage, but clean and freshened up with paint. Small, but had everything you needed, including fans in every room, books, games, kitchen ware. Beds were not that comfortable for the older folks, fine for the younger ones. Shared access to kayaks, canoe, and paddle boards was a huge plus! Beautiful spot on Lake St. Catherine, perfect for swimming and boating right from the yard. Two other cottages share the outdoors space and amenities (fire pit, grill, kayaks, swim docks, etc.). “We are long-time summer residents who needed alternative housing. We are so glad that we were able to rent this home. You walk in the door, and just wow. The view is 180 degrees of mountains, lake, and clouds. You can just enjoy the view all day. Everything was well stocked and comfortable. Beds were great. The dining room-kitchen area made for easy cooking and dining. Wonderful deck for watching sunsets. This is a perfect place for family time, and everyone had plenty of privacy. It's a retreat...
