Mountain Deer Pass - En rustik bergsresa på Peacful Side of Smokies

Vår vackra stuga sover upp till 8 personer bekvämt. Det finns två levnadsnivåer. På huvudnivån finns det gott om öppet utrymme med ett välutrustat kök, matplats med bord och sittplatser för 6. Detta inkluderar också ett vardagsrum med TV och vedeldad spis. Bakom köket finns en fullt utrustad tvättstuga med tvättmaskin, torktumlare och strykjärn. Master-sviten ligger också på huvudnivån och har en king size-säng och badrum. Det finns en skärmad veranda precis utanför baksidan av stugan med sittplatser och en kolgrill för matlagning. Den övre nivån
 har 2: a sovrummet med dubbelsäng, 2: a badrummet och loftet med den 3: e queen size-sängen. Det finns också en utdragbar soffa i vardagsrummet som kommer att sova ytterligare 2 personer. Det finns plats att parkera 2-3 fordon framför kabinen. Fastigheten är bortkopplad strax utanför Wild Laurel Golf Course och ligger bara några minuter från restauranger och utomhusäventyr i Townsend och Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

We loved our cabin. The road up to the cabin is just a gravel road, just go slow and it is fine. Very nice cabin, it is close to everything you need but you are still in the forest. I loved the screened in porch, the chairs were comfy and they rocked. So peaceful. We drove around and shopped and ate a late lunch then came back to the cabin and played cards.

Quiet cabin

Clean place, beds were comfy. Upstairs bunk bed need work as they creak and move alot. Everytime my teens rolled over on the bunks I could hear it below in the master bedroom. Watched a bear and deer roam through while sitting on the screened in back deck. It was a nice quiet place, close to town. We enjoyed our stay!

Stuffed penguin

This was our second stay at your cabin its our favorite vrbo or rental of all. The first time we stayed is when we closed on our 10 1/2 acre lot in Townsend we have been improving our land ever since. The reason for staying again was because we are heading to Florida for vacation but the fireworks in Townsend are like no other! We chose your cabin again because it was available and we had hopes of finding the stuffed animal penguin my daughter left behind from our seaworld trip but no luck. But more importantly we love the cabin so much we would like to know if you would share the builders name with us or if you know the model name of the cabin? Our property sits on a mountain ridge up near the foothills parkway off Carrs Creek road and the cabin you have would fit our landscape and family perfect. Thank your for letting us stay at your cabin and any information on the build of y o u cabin would be greatly appreciated.

Awesome Vacation

Secluded and Serene.

Nice little cabin in the woods, clean and ready with everything you need for your vacation. We only really stayed here to sleep, because we were exploring the area in and around the Smoky Mountains. My only concern was that we stayed in the downstairs bedroom and all the sounds from upstairs could be heard. The host Jeremy was very responsive and overall it was a very pleasant experience. Peaceful Side of the Smokies

My family and I loved staying in this beautiful cabin and hope to come back in the future! The cabin was clean and cozy. Check-in and out went very smoothly. Townsend is called the Peaceful Side of the Smokies for good reason. My family and I definitely preferred having a calm retreat at the end of the day, instead of the bustle of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. Jeremy (the owner) was quick to respond to any request or question. He and his father went above and beyond to clear off trees that had fallen across the road during a pretty incredible wind storm. I highly recommend!

Good location

We were traveling to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park with our elementary age daughters and my parents. This cabin was convenient for our needs. Hot water, firm mattresses with plenty of clean linens. Wi-Fi was great and smart TV's were easy to use. Kitchen was adequate, though the light cooking we did in oven and on stovetop revealed a quirky appliance. Pots and pans, baking sheets, cooking utensils, dishes for all six of us. Not a spice, oil or dry good at all. We did find room for improvement on the overall maintenance - toilets not cleaned, lightbulbs missing or flickering all weekend. The loft bedroom worked for us, but be aware that it has no door or storage. Parking was a squeeze for two vehicles without obstructing the mountain road. Watch the video, this was very helpful to feel confident approaching the property.

Very nice cabin. Location was great. However, maintenance doesn’t appear to be done on a timely manner. Light bulbs burnt out, 1 burner on the stove doesn’t work, knives need replaced, yard needed mowed.

Cozy but noisy

Very nice cabin, but noise traveled throughout the entire cabin very easily. Water pressure was great. Needed more toliet paper and better quality kitchen items. Oven/stove was wonky and dryer seemed to b on the fritz. Road into cabin was unsure of if people would be coming or not.
