“Staying here is like stepping back in time to a more elegant and refined era. The house is filled with antiques and has been decorated with great taste. It has a wonderful sitting area downstairs, and the bedrooms are whimsical and delightful. The breakfasts far exceeded my expectations. Maybe best thing of all is the proprietor, Holland. She is warm, engaging and thoroughly charming. My wife and I hope to have reasons to visit Spokane, again, soon, so we can stay here, again. ”

“The staff was very nice and helpful, they went above and beyond to help me. The pool was nice but the hot tub was covered over with plywood. The room was nice and clean, the bed was very soft and comfortable but the freezer was iced over and I couldn't fit anything in it. Plus, the hallway spelt like smoke and on one of the nights, it spelt like marijuana. ”

“This was a good new hotel in Spokane. It's a little outside the city center which is good as it's safer and more quiet. Check in was easy and friendly. Just wish they could have been a little more welcoming. The parking garage was very good and only accessible by car with your room card key. Otherwise you could enter the parking garage by foot. It was also cctv in the parking garage. Room was new, big and clean. Nice view towards the city. Breakfast was good. ”

“This hotel is amazing! The staff was super friendly at check in and check out, and they even put the bike I brought for my trip in a safe spot for me overnight! The rooms were super clean and comfy, and the pool area was so nice. We loved being able to be right next to the gorgeous Riverfront park. ”

“The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The coffee was good. I know it is out of their control, but the unhoused people in the neighborhood (The 7-11 across the street) is not safe. I counted 25 people doing various things, with a lot of taking or exchange of drugs. When I went down the stairs to the car on the La Quinta property there was human feces. “Folks at Holiday Inn make it a pleasure staying on property. After getting settled, happy hour was in the dinning area and the next morning we had delicious fresh ground coffee and the protien breakfast was a treat, too. ”

“Hotel did not match the photos or expectations set on Expedia. Room was dark, outdated, and had a musty odor. The carpet was old and unclean, and overall the property is worn down and poorly maintained. The AC was loud, making it difficult to sleep. On top of that, there is a freight train directly behind the hotel, loud enough that the hotel provides guest rooms with ear plugs! The bed was overly soft and dingy. There was only a rough sheet and an extremely thin cover that barely functioned...

“Great service, friendly staff, convenient restaurant which made me a superb sandwich and serves Starbucks coffee. The room was very clean and quiet and I slept great in the bed. I'd stay here again without question. Just outside was the river trail with great river scenery, and a quarter mile or so to Riverfront Park and downtown. Also, the parking was generous and well lit.”
