“We stayed for two weeks at the end of September. We expected mixed weather and that is what we had. The first week was cloudy but warm which gave us a chance to explore local cities like Braga and Guimaraes. The second week we had glorious sunshine and made the most of the swimming pool. The house has a lot of character with living accommodation over two floors with a spiral staircase, and the outside terrace or balcony was a lovely place to sit and watch the sunset. “Lovely breathtaking views and nice modern amenities made for a great stay. Responsive and friendly caretaker let us in and replied to questions immediately. Quite secluded and peaceful and about 25 minutes from Regua. Typical country roads to reach it required careful driving. It was a nice base to come home to after a long day of sightseeing, relax and enjoy the evening”
