Vacker stuga på vattnet i den orörda West Bay

100 fot privat strand i ett lugnt och exklusivt område. Vakna upp till spektakulära soluppgångar. Se upp mot Power Island (en gång ägt av Henry Ford). På natten kan du titta ut över vattnet för att se lamporna från Traverse City på avstånd.

Denna fullt möblerade nyrenoverade stuga med stora fönster för din obekväma panoramautsikt. Bara 50 meter från vattnet (10 steg ner). Varje rum har utsikt över vattnet. Köket är öppet mot vardagsrummet som också ger enastående utsikt.

Stugan är immaculate. Våra hyresgästers återkopplingsundersökningar från 2017 har betygsatt 'renhet' som 'utestående' av 100% av våra hyresgäster, 'plats' som utestående av 90% av våra hyresgäster. Dessutom angav 100% av våra hyresgäster "vår webbplatsbeskrivning var korrekt" och 100% sa att "de skulle överväga att komma tillbaka och hyra från oss igen".

Varje sovrum har en queen size-säng och vardagsrummet har en dubbel storlek futon och en extra soffa. WiFI är tillgängligt.

Stugan ligger 6 mil söder om Suttons Bay och 8 miles norr om Traverse City. Denna stuga ligger på en liten sidogata bort från huvudvägen. En närbutik ligger mindre än 5 minuters promenad. Perfekt beläget för de många aktiviteterna i Traverse City och Leelanau County. Njut av stranden, bada, båt, vattenskidor, fisk. En offentlig båtlansering ligger mindre än 1 mil bort. Njut av vinprovning på många vingårdar bara några minuter bort.

Flera golfbanor finns i närheten, en ligger mindre än 10 minuter bort. Om du föredrar levande underhållning och spel är Leelanau Sands en 12 minuters bilresa bort. Den asfalterade Leelanau-leden (15 mil lång) är perfekt för vandring och cykling är 1 1/2 mil bort. Vasa-leden är en 25 minuters resa bort. Stora restauranger och shopping är också bara några minuter bort.

Njut av de många höst- och vinteraktiviteterna. Höstaktiviteterna inkluderar färgturer, golf eller vinsmakning i de många närliggande vingårdar. Vinteraktiviteter som utförsåkning och längdskidåkning, snowboard, pulka och slang, snöskoter finns i närheten.

We had a great time at this beautiful place. The view is unbeatable! We enjoyed lots of relaxing on the deck with the waves lapping and the skies constantly changing. We had everything we needed and were close to any places we wanted to explore. We will be back!

The hosts were excellent and ensured we had everything we needed. The property is everything it said it would. We loved our stay. Being on the water was so relaxing with spectacular sunrises. The location was ideal to get to where we needed to be. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Only wish we could have been there a few weeks later to see the leaves change!

It’s all about the views!

Amazing views! Morning sun, with glorious sunrises over the West Bay. Comfortable, clean, great location. Bring your own towels and sheets required. May not be suitable to those with sensitive respiratory issues, musty odor noticeable, especially when windows are closed.

Perfect Guesthouse!

My husband and I could NOT have enjoyed our stay more! Duane and Vicki were amazing hosts and the location and amenities were spectacular! It was exactly the view we were hoping for and so much more! The deck was perfect for relaxing and the cottage had everything we needed to be comfortable and relaxed. Can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful Week on the West Bay

My Wife and I had a wonderful week at Duane and Vicki’s place. To start with, the location and views were fantastic with it sitting right on the water of the West Bay. We spent a lot of time sitting on the deck taking in the views. The guest house was very comfortable and stocked with all the needed basics. Duane and Vicki were very gracious hosts, and you can tell they care very much about their guest’s experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

A beautiful and peaceful little cottage!

We stayed here for my best friends bachelorette weekend. Duane was very accommodating and understanding that we had so many girls coming from all over (only two parking spots at the house). The water is really high this year so there's no beach but the sitting on the deck makes you feel like youre on a boat, its a great place for morning coffee! The cottage is a perfect location between Suttons Bay and a very short drive into Traverse City, while still feeling away from it all.

Fourth of July Week

Duane and Vicki were reachable, responsive and friendly hosts with a nice property. The cottage was very clean and well-kept. Nothing appeared worn or stained or outdated. Cottage had a fresh and vacation-y feel to it. Photos are accurate, however, it seems like the waterfront may have eroded some since pictures were taken, as there wasn’t enough room to use the fire pit as we would have liked during our week - too near the water’s edge to fit chairs. Overall this was a good value and a pleasant stay.

Clean, comfortable, amazing view!

This property is perfect! It is clean, comfortable and has a perfect view of the lake. Waking up each morning and having a cup of tea was perfect. The owners are also super friendly and helpful throughout your whole stay. They give great suggestions on places to eat and things to do if you are new to the area. We also took our own kayaks and put in almost every day. There is a nice garage attached to the house where you can store kayaks, bikes or strollers. This was our 13 month daughters first big vacation and the place was spacious enough for her to have room to play! Overall, we are extremely happy with our stay and look forward to going back.

Best moon views on the bay!

We loved our time here. The cottage was very clean and well maintained. Thoughtful little touches that were so welcoming. There was a basket of snacks when we walked in, the fridge had a pitcher of filtered water and there was ice in the freezer. A fresh sponge in the kitchen and new bar of soap in the bathroom. The kitchen is tight if you have more than one person in there but it was definitely well stocked, even with small appliances. There was a listing of places to eat, shop and see while we were in the area. I have vacationed in this area all my life and this cottage had THE BEST views of the moon I've ever seen. We were graced with bright beautiful views almost every night.

Quit & Private Cottage on West Bay

This West Traverse Bay Cottage was excellent. It is nestled between several full time residential homes. It is very quiet and private, and perfect for a couple (or 2) with the 2 bedroom and 1 bath layout. There is ample living space inside. The kitchen has a lot of cabinet space to store groceries etc. The owners have made several very nice upgrades - AC/Heat mini-split in the main living area, new stove, new clear plexiglass on the deck. The grill was very clean and started first time. And the location is very convenient to get to Suttons Bay or Traverse City + the Shady Lane Market is a short walk. Would reco!

Enjoyed our stay. Property was neat and well furnished. Nice location with lovely lake views. Very relaxing which was just what we were looking for. Duane was an excellent host and the only thing that could have been better was the weather. Oh well, can't have everything. On our list for revisit.

Mother/Daughter Trip

Cannot stress enough what a fantastic experience we had. Let’s start with the view, which could be seen throughout the house. Even when preparing meals in the kitchen. So clean. Sitting on the deck overlooking the lake at all times of the day or night was priceless. My daughter and I both slept beautifully on the beds. Our host was extremely helpful and friendly. Always making improvements to an already perfect place. Asked questions to make sure we were happy with everything. Short trip either way to Suttons Bay or Traverse City, each loaded with cute shops and wonderful dining. The whole area is absolutely beautiful. My daughter and I both agree we’d love to return. What a memorable time we had. We were so sad to leave. Thanks so much to the Amatos!!

Amazing location

When we arrived the property owner had a nice welcome basket for us. We had great weather for the week, the location was amazing, nice and quiet like we prefer, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be back!
