âBooked for an early morning flight, location is perfect for the airport and would use again.
Room very nice and comfortable. Booked half board and included diner was tasty. Breakfast buffet was decent but the bacon was really inedible which was really disappointing.
Great staff who are very helpful, a lovely bunch. â
âThis is an excellent country hotel, about 1.5 miles down a lane from the main a1, itâs quiet and peaceful and although in need of refurbishment, which itâs getting after November this year, is still extremely nice. The rooms are old fashioned but comfortable and warm ( when you work out how to turn the heating on (why donât they tell you?)): staff are wonderful and the food is excellent. Breakfast is really good with continental and cooked meals, evening meals are brilliant, they seem a little...
âThe property is an 18th century coach house so donât expect brand new anything, that being said the place is full of character, but the most important part of this inn are the excellent staff, mostly Maureen (Mo) and Gracie. They were superbly professional yet warm and welcoming and made our 2 day stay a pleasure. The food was excellent (well done Becca) with a great choice. The room was spotless and clean as was the bathroom, would definitely go back and probably will. Well done all.â
âThe Hotel has been refurbished to a very high standard, to look at the hotel is gracefully even though it is a large building, there are a number of entrances weather your there to stay or even to watch the football!! We stayed and ate in the bar the food was served hot and delicious.
But for me what stood out most was the staff, nothing was a problem for them and everyone was polite, friendly and respectful. In all a very positive experience and will certainly return to the Great North Hotel â
âVery friendly lady at the counter. We travelled to Newcastle recently for the Great North Run. The lady (I am so sorry for not remembering her name) had plenty of suggestions about how to get to the venue. She even let us keep the car parked after our check out. The location is very good as well. Buses and Metro available within a short walking distance. Great value for money!â
âLesley and Steve made us feel very welcome in their home. Our room was quiet and comfortable with quality bedding. Breakfast was plentiful and , included a cooked breakfast. Steve was an attentive host during breakfast. Parking at rear of property. â
âWe spent the night here as we had an early flight in the morning. It was great - quiet, very comfortable mattress, just next to the airport and with a pub that serves food then minutes walk up the road.â
âReally lovley area, check-in was easy and Jay was nice enought to let us drop our bags early so we could explore newastle.
Of note, due to train strikes 2 of our trains were canceled or skipped the Cramlington stops so keep an eye on that if you make any appointments that rely on public transport.â
âWe really enjoyed our stay at the Gosforth Park Hotel. It was unplanned, as we had to reschedule due to issues with another location. But we able book a room easily with Gosforth. The staff were wonderful and accommodating during our 4 day stay. Prices are wonderful, the rooms are large and spacious, the gym and poor are fantastic. Could not recommend more. â

âVi hade bokat Superior rum men undrar om det verkligen var nĂ„got "extra" med det. Toan var i ett rum medans badkar, dusch och vask var i ett annat rum. SĂ€ngarna var vĂ€ldigt hĂ„rda men vi sov vĂ€ldigt bra i dem.
De hade glömt att boka taxi till oss den morgonen nÀr vi skulle hem och nÀr vi vÀl fick en taxi och ankom till flygplatsen hade hotellet angett att vi skulle betala för turen fast att det ingick i priset.
