Having one king bed and one queen bed made it perfect for our family of four with two older kids. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. During our stay, my wife developed a blister after visiting the Great Wall, and the staff kindly provided alcohol-soaked cotton tips—such a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. “A bit confusing at first. I'd booked the Xinjiang Hotel and they couldn't find the booking. Then referred me to the Xinjiang Plaza 100 meters away. Very frustrating when you cant find anyone that speaks English. Apart from that it was a very good place to stay. When I booked at the hotel it excluded breakfast. At the plaza the price included breakfast and was cheaper.”

“Very close to Jishuitan subway exit G1 and lots of excellent eateries plus 5 min walk to the beautiful Beijing inner city lake system. Highly recommended - just pinch a chair from the lobby to make your in-room stay even more comfortable:))”
