“The rooms had very little lighting, floors had so many gouges you couldn’t go without shoes because it would cut your foot, sink is so large there is no space on the bathroom vanity, blow dryer won’t even dry your hair, iron was broken into pieces, iron board was torn into pieces, the smell of mildew was bad.”

“The property and my room were clean. Very nice furnitures and great decoration! The location was great and very convenient ; close to downtown and all historical locations . The breakfast was good. But My bed was uncomfortable; the mattress's very hard and the pillows were not good . Gladly , I had my own pillow, otherwise I would have neck ache . The lady was polite and organized but not very welcoming. I didn’t feel that warm feeling. Anyway, it was a good trip. New Bern is a beautiful town.”

“First off don't expect Hot fresh coffee! My family and I went to the lobby to grab coffee and tye coffee was COLD!!! Asked the lady at the front about the coffee (this was at 8:30pm) she stated she just clocked in at 3pm and hadn't made a fresh pot for either coffee meaning Strong, Decaf and light coffee until 9pm!! Why?? She was NOT FRIENDLY at all!! Again for breakfast the lady there this morning (9am) had not finished brewing the coffee which we drink Strong and that coffee hadn't been brewed...

“Loved the large walk in shower, hated the bare bedroom floor. Breakfast was so so. Of the things I usually eat - watery oatmeal, old biscuits, coffee was terrible. Several people were making waffles but it was too much of an effort for me.”

“Just got back yesterday from our stay at the Clarion Hotel, the hotel lobby is very beautiful, the marble floors are state-of-the-art, it appears that a lot of thought was put into the design of the lobby.The hotel staff was very friendly. When pulling up to the hotel, it was aesthetically very pleasing. The breakfast was great, it would have been nice to have an alternative meat since we don’t eat pork, but otherwise than that, it was wonderful plenty of choices of things to eat, from cereals,...
