“This cozy almost feel at home hotel was such a joy. And the service was great. I had to call after hours for service and without hesitation someone came over and made sure everything was put in place for my complete comfort. And the person in charge made sure to text me and made sure i was satisfied and taken care of immediately. I will give one piece of advice, when booking make sure and take the rooms with the balcony that over looks the ocean. I was given this advice and i did not take it and...

“Had a good stay. The room was clean and staff was helpful. We had a problem getting food during a Tuesday night since most of the places closed very early in Bucco. Apart from this the area is nice”

“A good flat/appartment, no luxury but a clean hostal/hotel room and a very service minded owner/manager. I do recomend it to solo travellers and it is clean but no honeymoon or family place, it is a little too basic for that. ”

Well located outside of Port of Spain and above the main routes to the north east of the island. “I had a wonderful stay at Shalom Guesthouse in Port of Spain. It is located in a quiet and safe area. The room is spacious, with a mini fridge, which is great for cooling food and drinks and a table, which is practical for working, an en-suite bathroom and even a little terrace. The owner was very helpful with everything, like directions and other information. A delicious breakfast was served to my room. I could rest well here, can highly recommend this accommodation. :)”

“This is an average hotel on a good spot of Port of Spain, 10 minutes walk to the main avenue and in a safe area. The staff are nice and helpful. The rooms are simple, but: 1) safety box are wooden, broken and you need a padlock 2) the schower are just dripping (bad design) 3) the aircondition are very loud.”
