“The host was very pleasant and quite thorough in explaining on the nuances of the property. Other guests were quiet although I was only there the one night while visiting family. The room and other amenities were clean. There are pretty gardens throughout the property as well. Note that there is only the bottom sheet and comforter on the bed and no top sheet, in addition although there are california shutters on the lower part of the window, but the 5 am sun lights the room up in the morning...

“To be fair, the host contacted me saying the unit had been accidentally double booked and gave me the option of cancelling or taking the similar upstairs unit with the caveat of some shared spaces noted but I could not have been prepared for what we were about to get.To start, we were notified to call the host to gain access to the property which seemed odd rather than a lockbox combo but though, “oh well”. “Perfect location to walk to the beach or Stanley Park (15-20 minutes or so). The room was bright and roomy with an attached bathroom. There was no air conditioning in the room, and no screen in the window when opening to help cool the room off in 28 temperatures. The room was clean. We didn’t use any of the other available amenities.”

“Coffee pot nono Hope that was put in the trash can in the next guest will not be using it. Kitchen was not even cleaned up. There was dirt all over the stove. My refrigerator had open food in it. There was no washcloths or fitted sheets on the bed.”
