“The hotel is conveniently located directly above a metro station, making it very easy to get around the city. The surrounding area is lively, with night markets, plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and everything else you might need. It’s also only two metro stops from the main station.
The hotel itself is large and spacious, with comfortable common areas. However, the restaurants in the building were fairly disappointing. The gym was also very limited—it only had treadmills, with no...

“The staff was very helpful and responsive. Unfortunately after my first night there I noticed bed bug bites. I demanded to be moved to a fully sanitized room, which they did--but sanitization should happen preventively, not in response to bad customer experiences. There is no desk and no chair, so it's hard to do any work in the room. The sheets are threadbare. None of it is a dealbreaker except for the bed bugs. Thankfully my following 5 nights in the new room there was no problem.”

“The big plus was the housekeeper who attended to us immediately. The front office staff was good also. But the downside is the property is pretty old and a refurbishment is badly needed. We only had a 14 hour stay but anything longer will be unbearable. Location is excellent though.”

“Nice little place right at Ximen area. But note the following to avoid my mistakes:
1) There is often no staff on site and check in is through a vending machine. My booking number did not work, so I had to call a Taiwanese number to get a new number that worked in the machine. Consider checking the number in advance with them. (Oh, and they have no email address).
2) Make sure to prepay with the booking website. Otherwise you have to pay with cash in the vending machine to get the room key.
