Lovely foothills retreat

I stayed in the guesthouse attached to the carport. Quiet, clean, comfortable bed, exceptional views. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, good value

Modestly appointed but more than adequate for our needs. The bed was very comfortable, and the deck was a nice place to enjoy sunset colors on the Catalina Mountains. Great location. Communication with the host was excellent. A bit hard to find and check into after dark-- recommend asking the host to leave house lights on if evening/night arrival is anticipated.

Relaxing respite

This VRBO was great! Let me count the ways: Breakfast, lounging on front porch, hummingbirds enjoying their nectar, fresh lemon from tree by porch; peace and quiet; prompt responses from Susanne; Comfy big bed; quiet ac; clean, and it’s worth repeating -quiet day and night. Easy drive to shops and activities of all kinds as well as great variety of restaurants. Full kitchen, I only used the the microwave and good size fridge. Highly recommend this getaway!

Room with a View

So glad we found this little gem perched in the Catalina Foothills. Up and over desert washes and hills, finding the cottage is part of the adventure. And the wide expansive view and stunning sunsets are the rewards, plus a comfortable bed, nicely equipped kitchen, sweet little patio and lookout deck. The hostess, Susanne, was friendly and helpful and offers an artistic lodging experience with a vintage patina. We are looking forward to future stays!

Adequate for my needs.

Good communication via emails from owner prior to arrival. Had everything I needed for my 3 night stay as I did not spend time at the casita only to sleep, make food and shower. Road up to the main house was fine but around to the casita was rutted and bumpy and you just park blocking the drive. There was a lot of junk around the property so initially I wasn't sure I was at the right place. I knew there was an airstream trailer rented out nearby but it is much closer than it looks in the pics. Can hear the people staying there all the time. I washed any dishes I used as looked like they hadn't been in awhile. Nice that there was a 5 gallon water dispenser for filtered water. The bed was comfy and clean. Could not turn on the ceiling fan so not sure it works. The little deck was nice to have as was only place to sit and eat but was a bit claustrophobic as shrubbery encloses almost completely as well as the entire casita! I thought there was a washer and dryer advertised as available but there wasn't. Overall the place was sufficient for the price with no real problems if you are not planning to spend much time at the casita and would recommend with keeping in mind my comments.

A cozy, quiet desert retreat in the city

Cute, cozy cottage in a nice upscale residential area. Nice restaurants and grocery store just a 5 min drive. Private and very quiet... exactly what we were looking for.

Perfect

I cannot express how much I loved staying here. The location is perfect, close to everything but out of the way. The view from this property is amazing, and the owners were friendly, welcoming and very quick to answer any questions that arose during our stay. This was my very first air bnb experience and it could not have gone better. I cannot wait to return!

Great comfy studio

This a great retreat for some quiet time. Super comfy bed, down pillows & comforter. Very quiet. Close to restaurants, Trader Joe’s & not far from downtown. We’ll be back!

Great for Short Stays

Very quiet location in an established neighborhood with good privacy. The studio set-up is very compact and could benefit from a hide-a-bed sofa arrangement versus only a queen bed taking up al the room to improve livability. Would anticipate this property to be best used in the Spring/Fall to extend the living space to the covered porch. Would be nice to have a small gas grill, due to exend the small kitchen space.

Quiet escape

This little home was just what we needed for our getaway! We loved the quiet, residential neighborhood close to many things. Bed was comfy, kitchen sufficient for cooking meals, and resident birds fun to watch! We also enjoyed watching the sunset over the valley from the deck. Would definitely recommend!

So happy !

What an enjoyable week , was in Tucson wrapped up in business, the owners live right next door , they are the nicest people I’ve ever met , a prior reviewer commented on the bed, it is fantastic, I am a value measuring person , 5 out of 5 stars .... don’t be afraid to move the chair and ottoman so it’s facing the TV.... So as soon as I got there I needed to plan more time in Tucson and the place is booked ....

Lovely time!

We had a lovely time at “Isabel’s House.” It was cozy and sweet and just right for our needs. Our hosts were friendly and available. As we were visiting family, it was easy to come and go as we pleased while knowing that if we needed anything, they were around.

Secluded Getaway

A beautiful little Casita with all the amenities for a short enjoyable stay. The foothills and desert life are a wonderful experience, close to all amenities. A full moon rising over the mountains, contrasted with the Tucson city lights.

Cozy Desert Experience

All the comforts of home squeezed into a small space. The views from the property of the Tucson lights at night is fantastic. You’re in a desert setting, BUT just minutes from the city life - shopping, restaurants, entertainment, etc. Honestly, my favorite amenity was the bed ..... extraordinarily comfortable! Awesome pillows too. Getting up in the mornings was a challenge ..... in a good way!

Quiet space close to town

Very well kept, clean, has everything you need for a short, or even extended stay. Great communication with the property owner and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend and will use again in the future if I am in the area.
