Welcome to The Copper Burro, your peaceful desert oasis! This home is nestled in the foothills for a quiet, relaxing getaway with friends & family, yet is a short drive to restaurants & hiking. Enjoy the desert landscape & mountain views from the comfort of your newly renovated space.
Designed with the discerning traveler in mind, The Copper Burro is furnished with luxury designs and stocked with quality linens & amenities to ensure an authentic Tucson stay. And the yard? You'll love it!
The Copper Burro is your modern yet comfortable Southwestern getaway with a private backyard oasis. The towering saguaros in the yard and proximity to popular hiking spots makes this home extra special. We’re boutique, locally owned and operated, and have a deep love for Tucson which is why we have incorporated much of the local flavor into our design.

Part of the Vacay In Tucson collection, the desert vibes of this property are relaxing and reinvigorating. Enjoy a gorgeous backyard space perfect for watching the Tucson sunset, having a BBQ, or telling stories by the fire pit. For the working traveler, we’ve installed a wifi extender so you can work outdoors while soaking up the sun.
Special amenities to ensure a deeply restful vacay include:
✓ Fiberglass-free mattresses (yes, sadly that's a thing that some mattresses have!)
✓ Helix Midnight Lux King size mattresses (medium-firm and a crowd favorite by our guests!)
✓ White noise machines and blackout cellular blinds
✓ Crisp white sheets and assortment of quality pillows
Fully stocked and ready for family memories, our KITCHEN includes:
• Kitchenaid pots and pans, baking sheets, spices, and more
• Complimentary organic medium roast coffee, half & half mini-moos, and assorted teas to caffeinate your day
• Drip coffee machine, Chemex, and electric kettle

We have a thorough cleaning protocol to ensure all surfaces are sanitized and use unscented laundry cleaning products. We're also eco friendly and provide personal care and cleaning products from Public Goods for our guests to use.
Eco features include recycling, dual-flush toilets, energy-efficient LED lighting, and a sink water filter for drinking water (bring a water bottle you can reuse).

Guest access
The garage is available for guest use with sedans or mid-size SUVs. Larger vehicles may not fit in it but can be parked in the driveway.
Guests have full access to the house except the following areas:
- Owner's closet in the hall
- 2 Garage storage closets
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE:
- NON-REFUNDABLE PAYMENT FEE: There is a 5% payment processing fee that is non-refundable. If you book then cancel, our credit card processor doesn't refund fees.
- DOG FRIENDLY: We allow up to 2 dogs but there are some strict rules that must be followed. Dogs can't be left alone in the house unless they are crated. No excessive barking, neighbors WILL complain. Can't be left alone in the yard, there is wildlife in the area. Waste must be picked up right away. Cannot be off leash outside of the house, like when on a walk. Furniture must be covered if your doggo is cuddling with you on it. Other animals that aren't dogs are not allowed.
- MID-STAY CLEANING: For stays of 14+ days, a mid-stay professional cleaning will be included at no additional charge (because no one wants to clean toilets on their vacay!). We can schedule a time when you'll be out adventuring.
- NO PARTIES, EVER: Because this is a quiet residential neighborhood, parties, events, or other large gatherings are prohibited. Unapproved visitors will result in us asking your entire group to vacate the property immediately and forfeit the cost of your reservation. This will be strictly enforced.
- OUTDOOR QUIET HOURS: This is a quiet neighborhood, so we ask that you reduce all outside noise after 10 p.m.
- PARKING: No street parking is allowed. There is space for up to 4 vehicles in the garage and driveway.
- MAX GUESTS: The listing sleeps 6 people total, which includes the total count of adults and kids. There is a $100 per guest per day fee for over 6 people, so if you need the extra space, you're better off finding a bigger house that fits more people!
- PATIO SLIDER: If a patio slider is open for more than 5 minutes, the HVAC system will automatically turn off to conserve energy.
- NO COUCH SURFING: For sanitary reasons, we do not allow guests to sleep on the couch. If you need more beds, please find a larger house!
- PRIMARY GUEST: Must be over the age of 28, verify their identity (much like when staying at a hotel), sign a rental agreement, is responsible for payment, and is physically staying at the property for the duration of the stay.
