âReally nice staff, very helpful. You really get into the jungle. The cabins interior were old but you had what you needed. Nice if you will enjoy junglelife but not luxury. â
âOverall everything was perfect , just that the pool was only for an adult . They dont provide pool for kids . So , it was very hard for those who bring their kids to swim there. â
âThe apartment really was top notch, very comfortable and incredibly well equipped. I was greeted outside hours by Lung who very quickly and efficiently got me checked in and settled in to the apartment. The properties share gym and pool facilities with the adjoining hotel and are very good and there is also an attached mall which has good shopping although I prefer the supermarket just across the main road. The Hoff, again just across the street, is a great place to get a drink and unwind a bit....

"We stayed at Meritin hotel as part of our longer journey across Malaysia and Borneo. For a stay in Kuching we can happily recommend Meritin hotel, as it maintained a high standard in most aspects. The price was quite good in regards to its high standards.
Positives:
- Good location, close to the city centre and walking distance to the waterfront.
- Clean and fresh room! This is one of the highest standards Iâve seen in Malaysia so far in terms of room standards (cleaning wise).
- Very helpfull and friendly staff! They helped us with everything we wanted and made sure we had a good stay.
- High speed wifi
Negatives:
- Although they had breakfast available, they had quite few options. Itâs not the biggest deal in world, but if youâre a big breakfast person I suggest to book without breakfast and find something better in town. Early breakfast was not available.
Overall a very good stay thanks to the helpfull and friendly staff and good standards of the rooms. Highly recommended for a stay in Kuching!
