The owners thought of everything... we were able to cook a few nights on the grill and the location was close to the lakes, but far enough for quiet "in the woods" nights! “Our host Margaret was awesome, showed up to greet us upon check in. The cottage had plenty of room for sleeping, several spaces outdoors to enjoy. The lake is beautiful, sandy & clean. We loved listening to the loons. We tubed, waterskied, surfed & fished. We also went to a few restaurants by boat that we were able to have dinner & watch the sunset. “Check-in was a very smooth process, and John gave perfect directions in how to do so. WiFi access was functional, and probably the best there can be in the area, currently. Our cell signal functioned at about the same level. We were able to watch things on the tv and have a few devices set up on the WiFi, no issues. “The house was great, perfect for adults plus kids. We appreciated the little touches, like lots of games for the kids, a sandy beach area, and water toys. The owner was super easy to communicate with, and a small issue with the hot tub was taken care of right away.Lake City itself doesn't have a lot to offer except for the ice cream shop. And the part of the lake the house is on is very shallow and full of weeds. But the house itself was great.”
