Welcome to the Splash Inn Lower Unit!
This property has been professionally designed and renovated to provide the ultimate Tybee Island getaway with all the amenities you will need to have a comfortable and fun filled beach vacation. Enjoy a heated pool, propane grill, outdoor shower, beach chairs, pool floats, a private screened in porch with a daybed swing, games, books, and upscale furnishings to promote relaxation and gathering with your friends and family!
Located on the South end of Tybee. Walking distance from Tybee`s restaurants and bars, simply walk across the street to the beach! Extremely convenient location and free parking in our expansive gravel lot.
*****Please note: This Home is two units in a duplex, including an upper and lower unit. This LISTING is for the lower unit only. The parking lot as well as the pool and laundry area only will be shared with any guests staying above you*****
The Splash Inn lower unit boasts a screened in porch with a twin size hanging daybed. Upon entering the unit, you will find an open concept living and dining area with a comfortable sofa, smart TV, books for reading, board games, and a fully stocked kitchen. There is a keurig coffee maker in the kitchen. Please note there is no dishwasher in the lower unit.
The bathroom--located off the kitchen--has been completely remodeled to offer tile floors and a custom tiled shower, as well as an LED light mirror and modern vanity.
There are two bedrooms in this unit. The first bedroom off of the living room includes a Full Size bed as well as a Queen sized bed a dresser and small tv. The second bedroom off of the kitchen, offers a Queen sized bed.
By the pool, guests can enjoy sun loungers, an outdoor shower, a shared laundry room, and an outdoor dining table with a propane grill.

The location of this property was perfect, a 2 minute walk to a quiet beach. Two bedrooms worked perfectly for our group of 4. The pool area was ideal for a quick dip and shower. We also fixed seafood and ate by the pool where there is a large table. We enjoyed a sunset tiki cruse and toured the near by Ft Pulaski. Over all the propert was good with a couple of exceptions. There wasn't a single coffee cup or water class. My biggest concern was the gate to the pool area. This property is dog friendly, we had 3 dogs with us. Whether you have pets or children, the gate needs to be secure. Overall I would give this property an 8. If the gate was secure I would give it a 9.

Almost Perfect
We thought our stay was close to being great. What stopped it from being perfect were the beds. The mattresses were very soft and there was little support. No box spring and only a few slats under the mattress. We were very uncomfortable trying to sleep. This would have been the perfect place if it weren't for the beds. The only other issue was the heated pool. But the heater wasn't on. When we turned the heater on, it was terribly loud.Now lets talk about the good. This place is in a great location. It's a simple one block walk to the beach. The place is super cute with a hanging bed on the porch to lounge in. The amenities inside were fine with retro style appliances. The management was very responsive to our questions and they seemed interested in making sure our stay was satisfying.The main purpose for a beach rental is to have place to sleep when you're not out on the beach or site seeing. With a little investment in the beds, this would have been perfect.

Winter Vacay
The vacation rental was clean and we loved the decor. The location was a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. We appreciated the off street parking. The house is on the main drag.
