Butler Beach Cottage är ett historiskt hem som är rik på karaktär men erbjuder fortfarande alla moderna bekvämligheter och en underbar välkomnande känsla. Gästerna kommer att älska den stora wrap-around veranda som är väl inredda med bekväma sittplatser och matplats för 8. Hemmet anses vara en upphöjd stuga och erbjuder alla vardagsrum, ett badrum, en halv bad och två sovrum på övervåningen. Ett sovrum är inrett med en kung och den andra med 2 Queens och en 32-tums platt-TV. Vardagsrummet har en drottning bäddsoffa och för underhållning en 42in platt-TV och Bluray spelare.

Nedanför stugan, tucked bakom gated dörrar, hittar du de återstående 2 sovrum och 1. 5 bad. Så vanligt i denna byggnadskonstruktion är dessa bostadshus fristående utan interiör som förbinder trappor. Det första sovrummet på bottenvåningen har en queen size-säng och en TV, det andra sovrummet är möblerat med 2 dubbelsängar och har en ansluten halv badrum. På det täckta uteplatsen kommer gästerna att njuta av ett bordtennisbord, majshålbrädor, ett bord för 6 och ytterligare sittplatser. Det är ett bra utrymme att bara umgås och slappna av! Ligger precis utanför är en kolgrill och en utomhusdusch. Också ligger i detta utrymme är en halv bad och full storlek tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Båda sovrummen är tillgängliga via individuella dörrar. De två sovrummen har ett med 2 dubbelsängar, och den andra har en drottning säng och innehåller ett bifogat badrum och 32in platt-TV.

Beläget i ett lugnt bostadsområde som är perfekt för promenader och cykelturer! Njut av ett bekvämt läge utan all sommartid. Bara 4 kvarter från Back River Beach, 7 kvarter till huvudstranden. Bara ett kvarter från en populär restaurang vid vattnet, AJs Dockside. Off-Street Parkering för 4. Butler Beach Cottage erbjuder WIFI / trådlöst internet.

There were a lot of good things about this location: the house on the inside was stunning. It was charming, clean, and had the perfect amount of space to spread out. The screened in, wrap around porch was absolutely wonderful to wake up and drink coffee on/sit outside during a storm and read on. The physical location of the house is wonderful. Super short walk to the beach, amazing little pool in the backyard. A few things to consider before booking- the neighbor is grouchy and yelled at my group within the first two hours of being there. We had a hibachi chef come and cook for us in the backyard. As you can assuming that comes with a certain level of noise, however it was nothing out of control (and it was 7:00 PM). He yelled over the fence that we were being disrespectful of the people that lived there and that ‘this isn’t an amusement park’. Just a little hard to enjoy our time after that being worried that every noise is going to get us yelled at/reported.The only other negative thing for my group was that we had enough people that we needed to use the rooms that were downstairs, off of the pool. Compared to the rooms upstairs they feel a little bit dungeon-y, but we all agreed that we got the best sleep of our lives down there (it was cold AND dark, the perfect combo). The downside is that you have to walk outside and around the house to access these rooms. There isn’t a way to get to them without going outside, which does make them feel a little secluded.

The main issue with our stay was the property management company, Tybee Vacation Rentals. From day one, I called multiple times about problems with the house, including a refrigerator that didn’t cool or make ice, an overflowing pool with a broken skimmer net, a flooded downstairs rec area, and no propane for the grill. The list of issues seemed endless.Instead of receiving actual phone calls, I got text message responses. No one ever followed up directly. I even visited the property management office the day before checkout, and the receptionist assured me I’d receive a phone call in the coming days. As I write this over two weeks later—I’m still waiting.Although the home’s description mentions the downstairs bedrooms, I found it misleading. Both rooms had a strong smell of mold and mildew, were extremely small, and had low ceilings, uncomfortable for anyone over 6 feet tall. Dehumidifiers are needed.We did enjoy the location and the porches, but unfortunately, that was about it. I imagine the homeowners would be disappointed with how their property is being managed. Overall, I would not recommend this home and would not stay here again. It’s a shame, because the house has the potential to be so much more.

Would not return would not stay here again

Unfortunately, the management company was terrible and did not prepare for our arrival, even though they took our money to heat the pool and knew that it would be a big part of our choosing this location. The house is an odd set up. We loved the two bedroom one bath main house, lots of character and very comfortable. Loved the porches as well. The lower level that contain the two bedrooms and one bath were odd and creepy, and it didn’t help that there were acorns everywhere so no one could walk, barefoot or without crunching on them again the management company knew we were prepared. There was plenty of time. The management company admitted they had changed their process and the main coordinator for the house did not do what we asked, and there was no urgency to make it right We could have chosen many other properties for half the price, but we chose this one for the pool, but we could not enjoy it in the bedroom disconnected from the house or not adequate. If you’re traveling with a dog, the fence does not clothes and is not attached to the back stairs to get into the fence.

Not as Expected

Most of my disappointment is related to the state of the actual surrounding area. I walked my family to the beach at sunset one day and when we were walking back to the house, I stepped on a used needle in the road. There were also beer cans and trash along the road, not what we expected at all. The downstairs area also felt too exposed, especially after the issues with the surrounding areas. I had to lock myself and my kids in the bedrooms at night. The rooms downstairs also felt like a basement without windows and concrete floors. Just not what we expected at all.

Fantastic Stay

My family loved the home. It was very nice and met all our needs. I would highly recommend this property. We had plenty of room for 10 people. We never felt like we were on top of each other. The porch is outstanding and the lower living area was over the top. We did not spend a lot of time at the beach due to all the other activities we had planned, If the beach is you main reason for be at this home, I would recommend renting a cart to travel to and from the beach. The beach is just now the road and it will make for easy travels.

This place was advertised as having 2.5 baths but it only had 1 full bath and two 1/2 baths. This was very disappointing to have only one place for 8 people to shower! We would have never rented this place (especially for this price) if we had known. Everything else was very nice.

Spacious, clean, beach cottage/house

It’s much bigger than the pictures look. Giant front porch. Giant play area downstairs. Very clean. Decorated beachy theme. We all had fun playing ping pong, walking around Tybee Island, to the beach, to restaurants. Convenient to everything. We had a great time and plan to book here again next year. Thank you so much.

Living on Tybee Time!

We had our children, and 4 grandchildren along with the fur toddlers as we do every year. We loved the house and thank you guys for delivering on everything advertised. We are not only planning our next trip, but talking of making our retirement on Tybee now. You guys sold life on an island to us!

Cute and Roomy

We were staying for a long weekend in February. While the weather didn’t cooperate, the house was a big hit. It is very cute and yet there was room for everyone. The area under the house was our favorite place to gather and glad ping pong and corn hole. The house was clean and well appointed. We didn’t lack anything. One thing to note is that the two rooms on the lower level are only accessible by going outside and down the stairs. Even with all the rain it was not an issue and didn’t distract from our visit, but it was something we did not know until we got there. We would love to come and stay during better weather some day.

Great for families with teens/in-laws!

Butler Beach Cottage was exactly as pictures showed! Each room was very cute and clean. The walk to the beach was only about 10 minutes. Wrap around screened porch allowed for a lot of outdoor time with no flying pests. It was the perfect place to unwind and play board games. The ping pong table was also enjoyed. The two downstairs bedrooms are perfect for young adults, teens, or in- laws staying with you, as the entries are on the first floor and they have direct access without disturbing those on main floor. Wonderful stay!!!

Wonderful stay!

We loved our stay in Tybee at this very comfortable cottage that is filled with southern charm! The two upstairs bedrooms were very large as was the living space. But it was the wrap around porch that stole our hearts! We ate meals there and relaxed there and loved hearing the birds. We also loved that we could walk/ride bikes almost anywhere we wanted to go! The downstairs bedrooms looked comfortable but we didn't need that space. We also had several good ping pong competitions! The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. We hope to be back!

The house was beautiful and very cozy.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful vacation rental on tybee. We are from Savannah but none of our houses were big enough for everyone to enjoy Christmas eve and Christmas day. It was an excellent way to spend quality time with my family. I personally really enjoyed the wrap around screened in porch. I recommend this vacation rental to anyone who needs a break. Well appointed, fantastic porch, about 5 blocks to front beach

We really enjoyed our stay at the Butler Beach Cottage on Tybee Island. The fantastic wrap around porch is the definite selling feature of this property. We spent most of our time out there when we weren't on the beach. Plenty of sitting, lighting, and a table to eat our meals at (thank you for the large fan to keep the air moving around!). Perfect for the 4 toddlers we had with us because they could be outside without worry of running out into the street. Large Kitchen and large bedrooms upstairs. Decorated very nicely and not too "beach kitschy". Plenty of books, games and extras to make your stay fun. The only issue we had was the downstairs bedrooms. Although we knew they were not connected to the upstairs main house ( you have to go outside to access them), we thought that they were connected to each other, not two completely separated bedrooms. We had to rearrange our sleeping arrangements to accommodate this. Not a big issue but it is why we didn't give it 5 stars. Also, the full bath downstairs is tiny and there were no shelves for our toiletries. I think an over the commode shelving unit would help a lot here. I would recommend this property and we would rent it again.
