“Very Comfortable with a well appointed Kitchen. Excellent view of Hood Canal and occasional glimpses of mountains through the fog and clouds. Would recommend visiting the Union Visitor Center for good information about the sites and activities in the area. We enjoyed a few hikes to waterfalls and dinner of Oysters and Dungenese crabs. Preparing meals was easy in the spacious and well appointed kitchen. Perhaps the only drawback was the motorcycles on the road below the cabin and canal. I...

“The property was lovely with beautiful views of the water. It was very private and perfect for a weekend getaway. The only hiccup was the WiFi. It was too weak to make it through a movie using either our computers or their own ROKU system. Loading was slow. They need to up their WiFi strength and put in extenders so that you can use the WiFi in the back bedroom. Otherwise are stay was perfect.”

“Everything about the listing was accurate. It is cozy, quiet and peaceful. I could walk up the road towards a dead end with my dogs and also down to Hoodsport from the cabin. There is a bit of noise from the highway up above the property, but really only in front of the house. The babbling creek was what was heard from the house and back area over the creek. “We have stayed at several properties on the hood canal and all agree that this is the one we will return to. The home is vibrantly decorated, accentuating the endless views through the doors and windows, well appointed with everything we needed, and spacious enough to accommodate 6 adults and a small dog. “The pictures do not do this place justice it is more beautiful in person. The host was great! Had a really fun time here, I would definitely recommend staying here if you are on the fence about it. It’s not to far from anything you’d wanna see here at the national park as well. ”

“We had such a lovely stay here! The house was extremely clean and is very well located in the downtown area. It was great to be able to easily walk downtown for coffee for food. The host was also very easy to reach when we had questions. I would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be returning!”

“This property is absolutely amazing. The view of Lake Cushman, the quiet, the lake access. All of it is top tier. When we travel, we pick the place based on the view and access to the water, not too much on the amenities (except when we travel to warmer climates we always make sure there is AC). That being said, this property has literally anything you need. We took advantage of the toaster oven, gas oven & range, the blackstone grill, washer/dryer, literally all of it. “It was as seen in the picture given and the view was so wonderful . It was off season so no one else was around if you came in summer not sure I would like to rent at that time . The driveway was hard as we have a small low car but we walked down which was fine. No wifi but that was all good for us as we watch a couple of movie . In all great place and house was really comfortable. ”
