“This is such a beautiful property that really immerses you in the nature of San Ignacio. Rose cooked fresh breakfast everyday that was absolutely delicious, and her and her husband were super kind. I also rented a car from Rod, who was also super nice, so I had such a smooth experience getting from place to place. “We had an incredible stay here. The pools were beautiful and well kept. Food was good, of course pricier than local options but still fairly priced and fresh. The landscaping and grounds and boardwalk were a dream though. Amazing work they have done here. It has to be decades of tending and pruning. The property manager was able to help us with our tour plans as well. We found cave tubing and ziplining through her connection to be cheaper than booking online.”

“Fantastiskt ställe med mycket servicemedveten personal. Naturen runtomkring är helt otroligt vacker. Missa inte tillfället att paddla och bada i floden intill, det ingår! Poolen är fin, men ganska liten. Rummen (Casita) är rymliga och där finns bland annat utomhusbadkar och stor vattentank för dricksvatten.”

The staff is super hospitable and are very willing to answer any questions and accomodate any requests that you have. The food is top notch and the grounds are very well kept. “We had a wonderful experience at the black rock lodge, the staff is amazing and you can feel how passionate they are about their work. The Tikal visit is a must. We had an amazing day on site with our guide Noel, we learnt so much about Mayan history and jungle fauna. We did also the hike to the summit and the night walk with the guide. Both great. “Vi blev uppgraderade till en svit när vi anlände-underbart! Vi fick en 100% introduktion av Lisa i receptionen och fick dessutom nöjet att guidad av ägarna i den botaniska trädgården. Otrolig!!! De egna tvålarna var fantastiska, ostarna likaså. Servicen och den fantastiska miljön var bättre än något annat vi upplevt. Extra plus för den roliga poolen, jacuzzin, basketspelet och bordtennisen. Bäst av allt var waterfall/cave expeditionen som var enastående. Vi återkommer snart Josette & Markus”
