“What an absolutely beautiful place. My wife and I spent an extended weekend for our anniversary to get away and relax. My wife loves to cook, and this kitchen was so well thought out, it had everything she needed. The only thing to note was that if you are a light sleeper and sleep in the bedroom on the main floor, the heat pump may wake you up when it kicks on. We wished we could have stayed longer. We hope to be back maybe in the fall or again next winter.”

“My husband and I (and our dog) stayed here for our anniversary weekend. It was very clean when we arrived and smelled like pine. Super cozy! As other reviews mentioned the doors are a hard to close but it’s doable! Not a problem at all. And as far as the “close to the road” it’s not a problem at all. I think we saw 3-4 cars go by the entire weekend. Very quiet road! “Amazing location and coziest wooden cabin. The cast iron stove kept us toasty and warm. Markus and Burgi were great hosts! We did a improvised winter canoe trip and got to see a family of otters! In a nutshell: it was all and more we wanted for a getaway weekend.”

“What neat place, lots of trails beauitful sandy beach and direct access to the lake. community firepit and a really wonderfully landscaped area. so many attractions to check out close by and great pizza at the general store. Golfing was a nice afternoon out and it was all around a perfect getaway!”
