“This house was absolutely stunning and comfortable for the purpose of our trip. The screened in porch was an absolute game changer because of the only downfall ... BUGS! We wanted to enjoy the fire pit but could not. Both days, the deer flies and mosquitoes were so bad. We had our puppy with us, and got eaten from just standing out to let him pee. I tried to go for a walk, but it's just the area. We stayed for 2 nights while at a lacrosse tournament, and the kitchen was perfectly stocked...

“We arrived at the cottage and there was a strange odour in the room. Then we noticed the furnishings were tattered and the cottage itself was poorly maintained. And though we paid we left after 10 minutes refusing to stay in this inferior cottage. We are now awaiting a refund.”

“In Huntsville area to visit with grandchildren. Booked this location for the close proximity to Huntsville, for the lake, water activities (kayaks, paddle boards) and pet friendly. Could not have asked for a better location !! The Windermere is a bit rustic, but well appointed and we loved it. Can’t wait to visit again !!! Also, the cleaning staff, especially Miss Lady, were wonderful - Thank you !”

“An absolute "Slice of Paradise" in a beautiful wooded lot!! A gorgeous 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath immaculately clean, spacious home 10 minutes from Hidden Valley Ski Hill. It sleeps 12!! It has an extremely well equipped kitchen with everything you could ask for and an operational hot tub. The grandchildren loved the games room downstairs and the Karaoke machine!!! It was a wonderful family weekend . Would recommend the property to anyone.”

“5 of us stayed at the house and it was a great choice to book here. Check in was easy, the house had plenty of space for us to all sit at the table or in the lounge room. The kitchen had most everything needed (measuring cups would be my suggestion). Everything was very clean, bathrooms were well stocked. No complaints at all. Loved the fire pit even though it rained. I will let anyone know that the single beds are not really appropriate for tall people. We had a few feet hanging over the end of...
