“Loved the apartment, will return”

“The property had no elevator our room was on the 4th floor. After 25 minutes we finally got a rep on the phone. He offered a room on the 2nd floor saying we could store our luggage in their secure storage lockers. Our luggage didn't fit into their locker. I'm 79 my wife is 67 there's no was either or both of us could get a 50 lb suitcase up a 35 foot curved staircase. We told the rep this and left going to another hotel. We have advised our credit card company to refuse payment as the service...

“We were offered an upgrade to stay on the second floor which is the third floor if you are an American. Beware if you have large suitcases, as there are no elevators. We had to practically empty our suitcase to get the contents up the stairs. There is a washing machine/dryer combo in the community kitchen, but it takes hours to wash and dry your clothes. Don't plan on doing much laundry. We did enjoy the spaciousness of the apartment once we got settled. The location was quite convenient if you...

“Everything with the unit was good except parking is a very big challenge. You cannot get within 3-4 blocks of the unit with a car because it is in a restricted area. The stairwell to get to the unit is very dark, narrow and winding. It was very difficult to manage luggage. The host needs to provide more detail about these things before arrival.”

“The property was beautiful and well stocked with everything you would need for a long term stay (my stay was unfortunately only 2 nights). Mika and Michel were lovely hosts. The location is close to the Marseille airport, so perfect for an early morning return flight. It is also centrally located to many places to visit / especially Aix en Provence. ”

“We were warmly welcomed by our host to his unique property, which was even better than the photos. He was very kindly flexible with both our check-in and check-out times. The apartment is very spacious, in a great location, with a very special view, and uniquely decorated. Of course to get a great view you have to be prepared to climb the stairs. The only minor issue is the water pressure in the shower.”
