“Simply fantastic! We found this converted monastery by accident. The building is beautiful, as are the gardens and surroundings. Very tranquil and peaceful. We had dinner at the restaurant, and it was excellent. The breakfast was one of the best I have eaten! Special mention to the "savory monk's cake" - delicious! My only small complaint is that the rooms are not exactly soundproof. But I can live with that, the rest is just wonderful.”

“The property is an amazing place, from the grounds to the inside of each room. The insides were wonderful and spacious, with a full kitchen. You had the option of having breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is a hidden gym located outside the Pienza area.”

“Wow is an understatement. This was the most spectacular part of our entire Italy trip. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed. The sprawling property is spectacular to roam around. Lots of space to go for a run. Easy to get to Montepulciano and Pienza. Nice to meet so many other travelers. The room was quaint, beautiful, clean and unique. “+ Mycket trevligt och bra boende. Rummen var rena och fräscha, alla i personalen var mycket trevliga. Frukosten var bra. Utsikten var magisk. Om man är mat och vinintresserad så är Montalcino-området riktigt bra, dessutom fantastiskt vackert. Med bil så är det inte långt till Siena, Florens och Rom. - Enda minuset är att det inte finns några taxibilar i Montalcino, det gör att man är beronde av en bil. ”

“It's difficult to navigate the narrow streets of Montalcino with a car, but the village is well worth it. The hotel is small and the staff very friendly. The view over the landscape from our room (towards the north-east) was breathtaking. No dinner, but a very good breakfast buffet with excellent coffee. The village is good for a few walks, but perhaps even better as a base for excursions; we took a day in Siena. Restaurants are better value than in the larger cities.”
