Stugor i Valley Head

“My niece and i live 5 hours apart so we decided to meet halfway in Mentone to visit before she moved to Maryland. Easy directions, great location, short distance to Mentone and Desoto State Park. We loved the cabin! Very beautifully decorated and stocked with everything needed. The bed and couch were very comfortable for sleeping, plenty of room for 2 people. Kitchen well stocked for cooking. Even tried the "Instant Pot"! Nice sized porch. My niece and i hung out there for hours chatting and...

“The minute I walked into the Owl’s Nest I felt like I had entered into a little slice of heaven. The cabin was immaculately clean and tidy. Instructions for check in and check out were simple and easy. I definitely want to rent this one again.”

“The Cabin was nice but it could use some work, the ceiling in the front bathroom was starting to fall and a few other spots was starting to separate. The Queen bed was upstairs with a Full size bed downstairs. It had a hot tub but it was separate from the Cabin. Overall it was a nice place and we enjoyed ourselves.”

“The Farmhouse was a nice place to stay. What better review could one give than to answer this simple question: "Would I return here for a stay?" Answer: "For sure, yes."”

“Check in was easy and the host was just a text away at any given moment, but thankfully because we didn't have any issues, it wasn't needed. The cabin was just as listed (though we did not test the hot tub), the A/C was wonderful inside and the bedding soft and comfortable, though the mattress is a bit firm. Sitting outside with a cup of coffee watching deer go by is absolutely worth waking up a bit stiff.”

“The cabin was a great escape for a long weekend. The only complaint was the small bed and thin, poor mattress. ”

“The house is thoughtfully detailed in every corner - a welcoming porch, a warmly lit living area, super comfortable beds, and everything very clean. We enjoyed both the wood burning firepit in front and the pretty glass firepit in back. The lights around all the outdoor areas make the outside relaxing and so usable! The covered hot tub was a joy to lounge in. My two girls loved having their own loft space above. We were greeted with a basket of smores and popcorn, plenty of coffee, extras in the...

“We couldn't figure out the fireplace and the Wi-Fi code is wrong but we found the code on the back of the router to use for the television finally. Never did figure out the fireplace which was one of the reason we booked it and we did ask for help but there was no response except for to refer to the manual which was no manual for the fireplace”

“Great cabin with very convenient location to Mentone. We very much enjoyed our stay.”

“Clean, cozy cabin for our family of five. It was a very quiet and peaceful stay and just want we needed! If you are looking for a place to get away from all the hustle and bustle and spend a few days in nature, this is the perfect place! The soaker tub with jets was perfect for soaking. The porches were the best place to sit and listen to nature and unwind! We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone!”

“Property was exactly as pictured. It was welcoming and charming.”
