Rustic Ruby Retreat – Cozy Lakefront Cabin
Escape to a cozy, private lakeside cabin right on the shores of Jump Off Joe Lake in Valley, WA. This hidden gem offers breathtaking lake and mountain views, a peaceful setting, and direct access to your own semi-private dock. Perfect for couples or solo travelers, this rustic-yet-comfortable dry cabin blends the fun of glamping with the ease of modern comforts. Relax on the covered deck, paddle across the peaceful lake, cast a fishing line, or simply watch the eagles soar. Enjoy spectacular sunsets, stargazing by the fire pit or curling up inside with a movie or board game. Kayaks, canoe, pedal/paddle boat, and small aluminum fishing boat all included with rental.

Please note: This is a dry cabin—no running water indoors, however there is a hot and cold drinking water dispenser—making it the perfect rustic-style retreat for those who love the outdoors with a touch of comfort.

Size: 144 sq ft one-room cabin + covered deck
Sleeping: Comfortable double pull-out sofa bed with 2" memory foam topper

Outdoor Living:
Covered deck with barista table & chairs
Propane BBQ, shaded outdoor seating area, and small dining table
Fire pit (available spring & fall, weather and fire restrictions permitting) first bundle of firewood provided.
Semi-Private dock (use at your own risk) with access to kayaks, pedal/paddle boat, canoe, and 14ft aluminum fishing boat w/electric trolling motor — paddles, life jackets, fishing poles and some tackle provided. Dock is shared with Tipi campsite across the road when in use.

Dry cabin: No indoor plumbing or shower; clean, private portable restroom on site, fresh water spigot outside
Showers: Coin-operated showers available at nearby resort within walking distance.
Parking: Parking available right in front of the cabin for one vehicle
Road noise: Cabin borders a two-lane paved road
Guests: Ideal for solo travelers or couples
Pets: one dog (20 lbs and under) are allowed when deposit is paid with reservation Host: Lives on site (across the road, uphill) and available by phone for questions and concerns
Dock and water vessels are shared with our Ruby Retreat Tipi dry campsite across the road when in use.
Check-in: Locked box with Key upon arrival (code will be sent prior to check in date) Cabin key also unlocks the storage area below the cabin that allows access to fishing gear, paddles, life vest, extra chairs, etc.
