For guest safety and security, there are outdoor cameras in various locations on the property. There are no cameras inside the house.

• There are 3 levels of the house: upper, main and lower plus the Teen Suite (garage loft)
• There are 7 doors to enter/exit the main house
• One door is on the upper level, five doors on the main level and one door on the lower level (bunk house)
• There are two doors to enter/exit the Teen Suite


***THERMOSTATS***

There are two HVAC systems in the house plus mini-splits on the back porch, Bedroom 5 and in the teen suite.


***SAFETY***

Safety awareness is critical for all guests:

• Spills: Because the floorboards are original, liquid can seep between the planks and affect the spaces below. If anything spills, a quick clean-up is much appreciated.
• Daily backwashing of the water filter occurs around 12 PM, creating a brief but noticeable noise.
• Lake – use of the lake and related equipment is at the guest’s own risk.
• Barefoot outdoors – guests should always wear some type of shoes/sandals when walking on the property. Sharp objects on the beach, lawn or gravel may cause injury when barefoot.
• Hammock and swing chairs – the weight limitation for the hammock and adult swing chair are 200 pounds and 150 pounds respectively. The kid’s swing is limited by child size for fitting into basket.
• Fires – the interior fireplace is not for use during the summer months. The outdoor fire pits may be used. Guests are responsible for damage resulting from fires. Fires must be put completely out when guests leave the fire area.

We love pets, too, but to accommodate guests with allergies, we don’t allow pets in the house. To protect the lawn and gardens from damage, we don’t allow pets anywhere on the property.


***GUEST ACCESS***

Guests have full access to the entire main house, including both kitchens, all living spaces, the hot tub, patio, gardens, private beach, and lakefront. The pontoon boat is also available for guest use at an additional charge—please inquire for details.
