“Wonderful little lodges on gorgeous land. So many plants providing stunning fall colors. Loved being just a couple blocks from good food, coffee and fun shops. Many reviewers had commented that there is only one sink in the unit but ours had a small sink in the bathroom as well so that was a pleasant surprise. If we find ourselves back on Vashon, will absolutely stay here again. Four thumbs up”

“We are a group of 80 year old long time friends. We have been spending several days together each October for the past 20 some years. Shabby Chic was the perfect house! We each had our own room and common area was perfect. Kitchen accommodated multiple cooks. We plan on a return trip next year!Vashon is truly beautiful. ”

“Beautiful location on a peaceful point with amazing water views and relaxing accommodations for a weekend getaway with our family with young kids. Beach play and games inside were all a hit with them. Plenty of accommodations for cooking in kitchen as well. Mary Ann was very hospitable and a great communicator upon arrival. Would love to make this place a regular stop for our family. ”

“The house was very clean and charming. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds were comfortable. We spent most of our time sitting on the rocking chairs on the porch facing the water, in the living room facing the water, or walking on the beach and taking pictures! I also like that you can see the water from all the bedrooms. The location is amazing, truly beautiful. The host was very responsive and helpful. We can't wait to go back.”

“As soon as we stepped inside through the unique wooden front door, we knew the cabin was exactly what we hoped for. Very clean, light filled, well stocked kitchen, and views of water everywhere. At high tide, it was relaxing hearing the sound of water slapping against the cabin. Low tide, beach was accessible for exploring. Our favorite activity was sitting on the deck, relaxing. Highly recommend a stay here. ”

“Absolutely beautiful view and gorgeous house. Idyllic location to reset and recharge. The only think I would recommend is making sure you bring food with you. Local shopping is a bit limited for groceries and only one pizza place delivers. It's a beautiful place and the manager is very accommodating. We extended our stay twice! We will definitely be back! ”

“This place was absolutely stunning and so peaceful. We pulled down the massive hill and we were greeted by a beautiful picture of the house with Mt. Rainier shining in the backdrop. We spent all evening taking pictures. Eventually, we did see one orca in the backyard! We did a lot of traveling but the ferry was super easy to use.
