“The apartment was very nice, clean and rather well kept. There were a couple small maintenance items and we had to buy paper towels, extra toilet paper, and soap but the host was very responsive and reimbursed us. The unit is very secure. Would stay here again.”
“The location was peaceful and beautiful, the house had plenty of space and linens. The only thing I would ask is for maybe some new sponges and hand towels for the kitchen and pans to cook in. Hot water was plentiful for showers but we never could get warm or hot water to the kitchen sink. Overall the house was comfortable and a great value. ”

“Accommodation consists of individual rooms to let in the host's own house and you share (part of) the kitchen and other shared areas including swimming pool, indoor and outdoor dining areas etc.
She is lovely and sociable although doesn't speak much English (apparently her partner who does speak English normally lives there but wasn't there when we visited).
It's not really walkable from town or any other facilities,
so unless you intend to spend your time relaxing on-site, it would suit...

“Clean and comfortable room. Helpful and attentive staff. Internet was not reliable but was able to go to a restaurant and get reliable internet. Even with my ESIM the reception in the apartment was not good. ”
“The property is a little out of the way, which makes it better for those looking for a quite place. All the rooms are big enough and comfortable, the swimming pool is excellent, the kitchen is a hit, and to top all that, the hostess couldn't be better. I think that I would visit San Juan de la Maguana again just to stay at Nery's for a couple of days.”
