They are still working on completing the renovations which was good for us because we got to go thru all the rooms & see all the furnishings. When we arrived Expedia hadn't notified staff (Dave & Pete) that we were coming but we had made reservations within an hour-ish before. So, our room hadn't been cleaned. “We were passing through on a motorcycle trip. The hotel was just as described. Nothing too fancy and no interaction with anyone while checking in or out. There was a cool looking bar area but it was closed for a private party. Not many dinner choices around the area however we took a beautiful stroll along the water to the marina where we had a drink and dinner. ”

“The owner communicated early and often to make sure we were good upon arrival. The house is beautiful and well appointed. The rooms are upstairs but the butler Kimo will bring up your luggage. The room was spacious and bathroom had everything needed - even 2 robes!! Breakfast was amazing - home cooked and very filling. I'm a vegetarian and he accommodated me easily. Would stay there again. ”
