“Supertrevligt poolområde som ligger nära havet. En gångpromenad på ca 10-15 min till en fin sandstrand. Rummet vi bodde i kändes lite som att tiden hade stått still. Vi fick känslan av 70-80 tal, vilket vi iofs tyckte var kul. Det var rent och rymligt och kunde se valarna från vår balkong! Vi skulle absolut kunna tänka oss att bo där igen. För tre dollar per person gick där bussar till Lahaina från hotellet. Smidigt! ”

“A plus for the staff. The resort amenities and activities made the stay worthwhile. After a long day we just sank in the comfortable bed and pillows. We stayed at the Hokupa’a tower which included access to the Lanai. The view from the terrace is magnificent and the access to the Lanai includes breakfast and small bites and dinner items from 5-7pm. We watched most sunsets at the Lanai while sipping cocktails in front of the infinity pool. ”

Less dining options than some other resorts, but ate multiple times at the terrace and had great meals each time, and a bit cheaper than other dining options at competing resorts. “Eftersom vi stannade tio dagar på Maui uppskattade vi de fullutrustade lägenheterna inkl. tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Inget saknades i köket. Poolområdet är mycket ovanligt med flera olika och varierande bassänger i stället för en enda stor. Nöjda gäster har lagt ut filmer på You-Tube. Från poolområdet är det ca 75 m till stranden, som här är mycket bättre än längre söder ut mot Kaanapali Beach. Restaurangen Duke's Beach House håller hög klass samtidigt som de som vill grilla själv kan använda...

“We got a room with large lawn area outside which was perfect for the kids. Went down every morning to spot the turtles and sunset in the evenings on the beach. Location is great if you are looking a calmer area with with beach access but with good service in short driving distance. We appreciated the air con in the rooms.”
