“The cottage was very nice and the view is amazing! The driveway could be better marked, as it is quite steep and hard to see - especially at night. Zero cell service, which is understandable, but there is no wifi. The lack of wifi should be clearly stated on the listing. We had to leave early because we had no communication with family/work. Bring toilet paper and paper towels if you’re staying longer than a couple days. ”

“We had a great stay! We went on a snowy weekend and the host was quick to answer all of our messages with questions pertaining to the weather/cold. The covered hot tub in the snow was awesome and the kitchen was well equipped for a weekend of being snowed in! ”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Banner Elk! This home was perfect for our family vacation. It was conviently close to the ski slopes. The home was well kept and decorated. The basement was a little cold but the owners had space heaters in place. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we look forward to coming back! ”
