âStunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Canât recommend highly enough. â
âThe property we stayed in was new and has been built to a very high standard. All the rooms have a shower and seperate toilet. A sink is located in each room next to the door. The living areas are bright and clean with floor to ceiling windows/doors, open plan kitchen diner with lots of space with modern appliances. âThis is the first five star review I've ever left for a hotel in Crete. The Lady who liked after us during the stay was amazingly kind, helpful and generous. The property is gorgeous and the apartments are incredibly well furnished & arranged. The pictures do not do them justice. The beach is literally across the road and the town square is a 4 minute walk. Many good restaurants just steps away. This should be on the top of everyone's list of places to stay when visiting Kalamaki.â

"We really liked the stay here. Very nicely done with nice though deforations.
Although the minus was that it was hard to reach any of the personell during the day because they were always away, and I felt a bit that I was bothering the owner when I called to ask any questions, therefore it was also a bit difficult to order any of the services that they have to offer such as massage ect.
Also, the jacuzzi they have outside is quite dirty and not really appealing. But the room itself is very nice!
